CLIENT

Our client is one of the world’s top 10 investment companies with headquarters in Great Britain with branch offices in the US and Hong Kong. The IT environment of this company is constantly growing: there are around 30 programs and more than 60 projects actively developing at present time. During the next 5 years, they are going to replace 150 out of 400 systems and integrate US, HK and UK environments.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Our client is forming a team that will be working on different projects that will integrate US and UK environments and adopt investment management software to US market requirements and regulations.

POSITION OVERVIEW
This job is for a person who likes to work with complex tasks on their own: you will be communicating to business stakeholders like asset and fund managers about their needs and difficulties. Diving deep into the solution that includes 40+ microservices. The solution has many integrations with other enterprise systems and you will be communicating with their owners and developers. But don't be scared, your teammates are always there to help!
To succeed on a project you will have to use/develop your communicational and analytical skills.
The work schedule is according to East Coast business hours.

You will take care of and implement changes to one of the core business applications, and also support an exciting solution and develop new features.

Requisitos

Requirements
3+ years of experience developing Java applications
Excellent knowledge of Java
Experience with Kafka or any other message broker
Experience with Java streams, Spring, and Spring Boot
Experience with microservice architectures
Knowledge of Openshift or Kubernetes
Experience with GIT, Maven, and Jenkins
Enough responsibility to perform in a complex environment without supervision
Spoken English

Nice to have
Experience developing using Java 11+
Experience with Quarkus
Experience with PostgreSQL
Building applications using the Camunda framework
Experience with Docker
Ability to develop a UI with the use of JavaScript and Angular
Experience working with DBMS using object-relational mapping (ORM)
