Atividades e Responsabilidades

Roles and Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth manual testing of new and existing application features.
Design, develop, and implement automated test scripts using Playwright.
Help update test automation frameworks to use Page Object Models.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and ensure high-quality software.
Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements and potential issues.
Gain a thorough understanding of the existing application and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Document, track, and escalate issues as appropriate.
Perform SQL-based database testing and verification to ensure data integrity.
Conduct email and payment testing, including Stripe transaction verification.
Work with DevOps to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
Mentor and guide QA team members on best testing practices and automation fundamentals.
Maintain and contribute to documentation for testing best practices.
Utilize TestRail for test coverage, defect tracking, and reporting.

Requisitos

Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
6+ years of experience in software testing, covering both manual and automated testing.
Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies in an agile environment.
Hands-on experience writing automated tests with Playwright, focusing on maintainability.
Ability to verify data integrity in a PostgreSQL database.
Strong ability to analyze, document, and escalate defects.
Ability to identify subtle issues in complex applications.
Ability to work effectively with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers.
Experience mentoring QA testers on automation fundamentals.
Understanding of integrating automation into a development pipeline.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and tight deadlines.
Experience testing payment systems like Stripe, knowledge of financial transactions within a Practice Management system.
