Location: Remote
Salary Range: 4000 to 6500 USD/month
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (EST)

Position Overview:
The Senior Analytics Engineer will work closely with engineering and product teams to build robust reporting solutions, deliver actionable insights, and support business decision-making through scalable analytics infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain, enhance, and optimize existing Looker dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
Build new dashboards, Looks, and Explores based in SQL and LookML to provide actionable insights to internal teams, clients, and end users.
Collaborate with Data Engineers to understand data structures and ensure accurate reporting.
Perform ad-hoc analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
Validate KPIs and metrics, ensuring consistency across dashboards and reports.
Conduct QA and regression testing on dashboards, metrics, and LookML changes to ensure consistency and accuracy. Assist in defining and maintaining data quality checks for reporting purposes.
Collaborate with the Product Owner to define reporting requirements and ensure delivered data products meet user needs.
Document dashboards, metrics, and reporting processes for transparency and reproducibility.
Work with stakeholders across product, operations, finance, and marketing to deliver data-driven insights.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field.
3–6 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or reporting.
Strong proficiency in SQL for querying Postgres (or other relational databases).
Strong proficiency with Looker and LookML or equivalent tooling.
Familiarity with dashboarding or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
Understanding of data modeling concepts and ability to interpret complex datasets.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to translate business requirements into actionable insights.
